    I'm happy to report Parnall's has returned to its historical yumminess after a brief (and all too common) post-Covid instability. Our brunch - shepherds pie, breakfast BLT, real corned beef hash, virgin Bloody Mary, white wine - was perfect except for so-so hash browns. Our server was most pleasant and helpful, requests including extra crisp bacon and spicy Bloody Mary yielded exactly what we hoped. The windowed front room was quiet and comfy. Ambiance is just right for brunch. Prices are still on the gentle side especially considering a nearby diner costs way more for way less. House-made Irish soda bread is authentically rustic and delicious. It came free to the table and you can buy a loaf to take home. I'm a fan of the crunchy buttermilk chicken, and decided to try the BLT - it deconstructed into delicious bites of egg, bacon, avocado, tomato, sourdough and aioli. Good choice!

    It's like "Cheers" without the laugh track, and WITH food. Excellent food at that! It might be one of the friendliest places in NYC.

    Parnells is one of my favorite restaurants in Midtown East. I was craving some brunch and got Steak and eggs. What a perfect plate! Sirloin Steak with mushrooms, tomato and fried egg. So yummy . Nice outdoor setup too.

    Have been going to this restaurant for many years and visited recently and the chef who is currently there is very good. I had the half chicken, moist and Delicious. My friend had the onion soup and roasted vegetables which she raved about . The wine was one of the most generous pours that I can remember . WELL DONE PARNELL'S
